Call for Papers: SNB Research Conference | 2–3 October 2026

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) will hold a research conference on monetary policy in Zurich on 2–3 October 2026. Please find the PDF version of this call for papers here.

The conference provides a forum for discussing a wide range of theoretical and empirical issues related to monetary policy. Topics of interest include (but are not restricted to):

• Governance of central banks and monetary policy
• Communication of monetary policy
• Monetary policy implementation and instruments
• Artificial intelligence, labour markets, productivity, and monetary policy
• Monetary policy transmission and financial stability
• Global fragmentation: spillovers on financial markets and monetary policy
• Robustness of monetary policy against higher volatility and persistence of shocks

Presenters and discussants are also invited to attend the «Karl Brunner Distinguished Lecture Series» that will take place on 1 October 2026.

Those interested in presenting their work should submit a file in PDF format using our online submission website at: http://editorialexpress.com/conference/RESCONF2026 by 12 March 2026. Please mention whether you would like your paper to be also considered for a poster session. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by the end of April.

Transportation and accommodation expenses will be covered for presenters and discussants from academic institutions. A conference volume will not be published. Past conference programmes can be found here.
