It is our greatest pleasure to invite you to the next Lamfalussy Lectures Conference, which will be held on Monday February 6, 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. The Lamfalussy Lectures Series, named after Baron Alexandre Lamfalussy, „the father of the Euro”, is an international conference hosted by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, the central bank of Hungary.
Venue: Magyar Nemzeti Bank Headquarters, Lámfalussy Conference Centre (H-1013 Budapest Krisztina krt. 55.)
The main theme of the conference is “New dimensions of central banking in the post-covid era”. The first part of the conference will highlight the prospects for central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), while the afternoon session will focus on the role of central banks in promoting the green economy.
