General information

● More than 200 central bank researchers will come to present and discuss from countries all over the world in Barcelona from August 29-31, 2022, in 35 parallel sessions.

● On Monday 29, a panel on “High Inflation and Other Challenges for Monetary Policy“ chaired by Jordi Galí (CREI-UPF and BSE) and Martin Flodén (Deputy Governor, Sveriges Riksbank), Diogo Abry Guillen (Central Bank of Brazil) and Philip Lane (European Central Bank).

● On Wednesday 31, a panel discussion featuring Deputy Governor Margarita Delgado (Banco de España), Harrison Hong (Columbia University) and Fernanda Nechio (Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco), moderated by Romanos Priftis (European Central Bank).

● The topics discussed, in the context of high inflation and increasing interest rates, are the central discussion on current economic challenges.

● The CEBRA Annual Meeting has been co-organised by Banco de España, the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) and the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research “Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe” (SAFE).
