Short Biography

Kilian Rieder is a lead economist at the Economic Analysis and Research Department of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB, Eurosystem). He is a research affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Kilian earned his Ph.D. in May 2018 from Oxford University (University College), after completing Master degrees at LSE and Sciences Po Paris. His research interests are in economic history and macroeconomics. He gained full-time working experience in academia, monetary policy and banking supervision at Vienna University of Economics and Business, OeNB, the Austrian Financial Market Authority, the European Central Bank, and the Bank of England. https://kilianrieder.com
