Royalties Arrangements

1. At the meeting of the Council of Management of SUERF in Innsbruck on 30 June 2001, the following rules regarding royalties from any SUERF publications were agreed:

  1. The copyright of all SUERF publications resides with SUERF except when exceptionally the Council of Management explicitly assigns it elsewhere in individual cases.
  2. All aspects of copyright arrangements are to be decided by the Council of Management following recommendations made by the Publications Committee of SUERF.
  3. Any royalties received from SUERF publications (including Colloquia volumes) are payable to SUERF rather than individual authors or editors. Publishers (including of Colloquia volumes) will be informed that any and all royalties are payable to SUERF at its Secretariat.
  4. The Council of Management of SUERF reserves the right to make honorarium payments to authors.
  5. In the event that any honoraria are paid to authors, this will in no way negate Rule 3 and any royalties deriving from any such publications are payable to SUERF.
  6. In the event that any publication of SUERF receives sponsorship from an external organisation or person the financial arrangement between SUERF and an author is to be decided by the Council of Management and will not in any way negate Rule
2. Authors of SUERF publications will be informed of these rules.
3. The Council of Management reserves the right to alter these rules.

Agreed by the Council of Management on 30 June 2001.
